and I'm trying a hotswap and keep running into an issue.I'm using xboxhdm 2.2 and endure 3.1. I 'm possitive that I'm unlocking the hard drive and it is showing up in Linux and Xbrowser. All files copy over but I get an error 21 every time. I can't even get it back to stock using xboxhdm. My stock files are coming from HEXEN but I'm starting to question if they aren't getting corrupted when I unpack the ISO and copy them to the USB stick.any thoughts? I'm trying to think if I have any other relevant info. I await the expertise of folks like SNAAKE and Sharpfork *EditOh yeah, I forgot to mention that I don't get any errors on xboxhdm. Ndure was giving me a no-CD error until I edited the script and removed all the calls to the CD drive. I only have 1 IDE port so xboxhdm 1.9 is not an option. My next course of action is to put the HEXEN ISO on my usb stick and try and unpack it from inside Linux to see if that helps anything. The das

Stop worrying. An error 21 is about the easiest fixed of all errors. This tutorials http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=135317.0 will consist of 2 parts :* You used an exploitable game and exploited savegame/installer and original games still boot.* You used hotswapping and/or some other mod method and/or original games won't boot.NOTE : There are more possible solutions, this tutorial is meant to be as noob-proof as possible.General info :An 'error 21' is some kind of general error. If it's not one of the 1-20 errors, http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?/topic/426318-tutorial-error-21-on-softmod-attempt/ but there's still something wrong, it will be reported as an 'error 21'. Most of the time there's something missing from your dash board. To solve this, just revert your c: drive to original, and start over modding. If you used an auto-installer, this time use Krayzie's installer, it's the most newbie (and troublefree) installer out there at this moment. If you hotswapped and used another method, make sure to use 'UXE Complete' together with xboxhdm.PART 1 : You used an exploitable game and exploited savegame/installer and original games still boot. This couldn't be easier:# Things needed : PC, exploitable game, original MS dashboard (from backup or Slayers (xbins)), exploited savegame or installer.* Put your exploitable game in the DVD Drive. Turn off your xbox, Turn on your xbox.* Load the exploited savegame/installer--> You now have ftp access.* Connect through FTP* Delete everything on C:* Put the MS dash on C:* Delete everything on E: , except: E:\tdata and E:\udata (optionally e:\apps)* Delete the savegame you used to mod (It's in E:\Udata\xxxxxxx , the x's represent the unique number for the exploitable game you used) (you're deleting this because it may contain uninstall info, which prevents/disables a reinstall

To make everyone's life easier (Mods, Members, and n00bs), I am going to post a listing of all of the error codes with some explaination of what they mean and how to fix them. I hope this thread will help everyone with there Xbox error problems. Also, I dont want to take credit for compiling the information (but I will take credit posting it!). I have to credit OCnewB and Superfro of the Xbox-Scene forums. He is the one who orignally compiled all the information, I just put it here on our forum, but I did clean it up a little, added some imput, and kept only the most recent updated fixes(the original had a lot of fixes that were out of date). So with all that being said, Behold: [bold]XBOX ERROR CODES EXPLAINED[/bold] For those of you that don't know or are not sure if or when you have seen an error, you will see an error during the normal boot up sequence. Instead of your booting the M$ dashboard or Hacked Dashboard (Evox, UnleashX, Avalaunch, etc.), there will be an message on the screen that says, "Your Xbox Requires Service" and you will see a number on the upper left hand corner of the screen <- this is your error code number. The error codes are listed below Beware, you wont see the bootldr error's because (thanks to: Lordvader129) : "when you see this" is not entirely accurate, you never see the bootloader errors, as they are one that cause the reboot/FRAGs [bold]2 - bootldr - Eeprom check failed[/bold] When you see this error most of the times you have flashed something wrong. Or you dropped solder on your eeprom chips. [bold]4 - bootldr - Ram check failed[/bold] Your Xbox ram chips are wasted. Maybe you dropped a little solder on it (try to remove it CARE
