At least until Advanced Installer version V10.5.1 the installation worked fine. I think it was since version 10.6. that error 2147467259 the installation shows an error. The version history shows some changes regaring ODBC. My installation project has a ODBC data source configuration similar to this:Name: MyDbConnectionDriver Name: SQL ServerRegistration: UserAttributes: DATABASE MyDatabaseServer: W2K8DC1/Trusted Connection: YesWhen I execute the generated installation I get an error message during installation. The error exists on multiple multiple PC systems (Win 7/64 bit error 2147467259 data and Win 7/32 bit). I get the error message in German because I work on German systems. Translated to English it says something like:Error when configuration the ODBC Data Source MyDbConnection, ODBC Error -2147467259: unknown error. Please check that the File SQL Server exists and you have access to it.I tried already to delete the Data Source from the Installer Project and reimport the working data source again from the machine. That did not change anything. I am currently working with Advanced Installer V10.9.1. I will reinstall V10.5.1 again to be able to provide my customers with working installations.I you want I can send you my project and a MSI installation log file if you want me to. I changed the slash to the more correct backslash

For eg If I enter the string "test" as the an element in the first row, there is no error. However, if I enter "test1" , it throws the following error. I set the data type as string and size to 0( max length for SQL). Any help is appreciated. Without seeing your table definition it's hard to say, but most likely the error is correct, you're trying to enter e.g. a 5 byte string into an integer field (which is 4 bytes), or similar. /Y G# - Award winning reference based OOP for LV, for free!
