Set in command prompt all vars, cd to %ORACLE_HOME\bin, locate lsnrctl and try to run from this directory. If it won't help - retry recreation of listener. Listener problem Unknown User asked Mar 25, 2002 | Replies (16) We brought our database server, database and oracle 8.1.7 installed on it. We are moving a production environment to VA from CO location. When database came here had many issues so we prefered to deinstall oracle software (enterprise) reinstall and then recreate the database and retriving it by imports. During the deinstall of oracle software we deleted the neccesary registry enteries and renamed the old oracle file and oracle home (ora817) The new oracle home is ora81. We deleted all related data, control... files and reimported the database. SOmehow when we start the listener services listener is listening to 2 services. There is only one da
