User account is being entered in a vaild format, is not locked or deactivated, has the correct rights (LANDesk and Active Directory) and is a memeber of the LDMS group on the core server. This user account was working about three weeks ago.On a related note, it would be great to see a consolidated list of error codes for the console (besides the IIS error codes).Thanks. User Authentication Error 2202 carend Jun 8, 2009 2:54 PM (in response to jnfortney) Hi,Have you entered the username with domain\username? If yes, have you tried to enter the FDQN on the core field, such as landeskcore.us.local? Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. Re: The specified username is invalid. User Authentication Error 2202 jnfortney Jun 8, 2009 3:01 PM (in response to carend) Hi Corrie,Yes, we made sure the user is entering the correct username format (domain\user). Also, in our environment the FQDN for the core has never worked properly. However, during the same period that this user was attempting to log in to their console we had several other users who were able to successfully log in (with the same core name).I did not mention in the earlier post, but the user is able to access the ldmain and ldlogon shares with the same credentials, but the console returns the same error message. I've had the user run "net use /delete * " and clear out any existing connections -- the console log in fails with the same error, but they can reconnect to the shares.
