I am using the latest installer provided by Microsoft – Windows Installer 3.1 (V2) [WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe]. During each and every installation requiring Windows Installer, I always get the same error message - "Product: ______. The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2932." Microsoft’s Event Viewer simply restates what I see during the failed install. The link to the Help and Support Center provides no additional information on Error 2932. The installer runs successfully until it approaches the end of the install, ends abruptly, and then displays the error message.
