consider following points while answering: Logged-in user and SYSTEM account has full access on %TEMP%,C:\Windows\Installer. msi is not marked as ReadOnly. As mentioned above you need to make sure you have admin rights. Second, I do have full control/full permissions on the server. So far I have tried the following: 1. Reinstall Windows Installer 2. Run MSI cleanup tool 3. Install new version of Windows Installer a. I'm trying to create the administrative installation point, but I keep getting the following error, no matter what I try.. "Error 2203 Database: c:\Program Files\OurCo\OurProd\Client\Install\clientinstaller.msi Cannot open database file. System error -2147287008." I've tried everything to ensure the proper permissions are allowed on the Target directory, file, etc, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?? Any help appreciated! Thanks!
