If this error is popping up as a prompt on your Windows operating system, you will not be able to install applications. Thankfully, there is an easy fix for this problem that you can perform using your system's DOS prompt. Click on the Windows Start button. In Windows XP, click on "Run," then type "cmd" and click the "Go" button. This will bring up the DOS command window. Vista and Windows 7 users click on Windows Start, then "All Programs" followed by "Accessories" and "Command Prompt." Type "regsvr32 vbscript.dll" and press the "Enter" key.
