The File 'agent.exe.' is not marked for installation. I am getting this "Error 2753. The File 'agent.exe.4747EFCD_A8CE_4016_80F6_BCAD9FE72' is not marked for installation." while upgrading the earlier version of the product. The setup run fine when the old version is removed from the system. If there is any tutorial to prepare the Optimized Installer then plz share it and give me a chance of thanks. If you can, setting the MSI logging key through registry then launching the tool should produce a standard MSI log file. If you provide that log, I can probably identify whether everything was working correctly. We definitely tested more than a couple scenarios, so this should wo

I've even followed some advice about putting the installer files in c:\cr4vs2010 but to no avail. The customer I'm developing for has Crystal skills so no other reporting engine will do. EDIT Found out about the FLEXnet transformer that fixes the above error. However, on completion of the install I get an error "The operation could not be completed" in a dialog box headed "Visual Studio". visual-studio-2010 crystal-reports share|improve this question edited Jul 26 '12 at 16:40 asked Jul 26 '12 at 15:07 Richard 127215 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 2 down vote accepted I've fixed it I think. I now have Crystal Templates. To fix. I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this thread, if it's not, let me know and I'll take it down. I'm in need of the utility Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2012, as I need to print reports, from which data comes from datagridviews. I've downloaded the first 3 executable files from here. Why did I download the executable files instead of the MSI's? Well, because on that website there's the following notice: Please note: To integrate "SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio" into VS 2010 or 2012 (SP 7 and higher) or VS 2013 (SP 9 or higher), you must run the Install Executable. Running the MSI will not fully integrate Crystal Reports into VS. MSI files by definition are for runtime distribution only. Any of these files, on installation I got the following error: Error 2753. The File "agent.exe.6ED28686_7B19_420C_B255_5B6C1BD2C705" is not marked for installation I've looked around and found out an article, where SCN states that there was a bug with the installation files. According to that article, I went to the Flexera website, in order to download FLEXnet Connect Installer Transform Utility. However, I need to create an account and access it, so I can downloaded that utility and I can't create it, because it asks for an Account ID. I believe it's a specific ID, but I don't have a clue what I'm suppose to type on that field... Does anyone know what I'm suppose to do?
