was doing a back up to a thumbdrive, I started to get a few odd unfamiliar messages about uninstalling quicken. I quickly closed those small windows. An proceeded with my backup. Then I got a message that said: "Your Quicken program files (not your data files) may have been damaged. Your will have to reinstall Quicken." As suggested I put my quicken 2006 disk in to reinstall/repair. no matter what I tried, repair, modify, remove I get this message: "Internal Error 2753.qcustomaction.dll" I tried uninstlling via control panel add remove, same message. So I can't install, modify, or repair and I can't install. Ideas on what has http://www.pnwmas.org/topic/11494-how-to-avoid-error-2753-qcustomaction-dll/ happened and what to do to get Quicken reinstalled and running again would be greatly appreciated.
