I've spent the past 4 weeks emailing and talking to people from Quicken to find out what the problem is. When they couldn't get it to work they quit (after promising not to) and blamed it on Windows saying my registry is corrupted and I need to contact Microsoft to figure out how error 2753 to fix it. Microsoft won't even talk to me unless I pay them 60 bucks which I'm not about to do. Does anyone have any suggestions? tigger20, Jan 11, 2009 #1 buggabear MajorGeek what error message are you getting? what version of windows are you using? buggabear, Jan 11, 2009 #2 usafveteran MajorGeek Will Quicken install but not error 2753 qcustomaction work right, or simply won't install? Have you used any registry cleaners?Click to expand... It won't install at all. When I try to am offered the options to "modify", "repair" or "remove". No matter what I do I always get the error message, "Internal Error 2753.qcustomaction.dll" and then it closes the window. I've used several registry cleaners (though I have to admit that they are free ones if that matters). I gave quicken the same info I am giving you but obviously they have been less than helpful. On numerous occasions they had me do the same thing even though I told them I had already done so. Thanks for replying. I appreciate any suggestions.
