Therefore, use caution and proceed at your own risk.From the Control Panel, uninstall ArcGIS for Desktop and all other installed ArcGIS products.Navigate to 'C:/Program files(X86)/common files' and delete the ArcGIS folder.Note:The file path for 32-bit systems is 'C:/Program files/common files'Launch the Registry Editor from the Desktop by typing in ‘regedit.exe’ in the Windows Start menu search box.Navigate to the following registry key and rename 'ESRI' to 'ESRI_old'.Code:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ESRISave and close the Registry Editor.Re-install ArcGIS for Desktop and the other ArcGIS products that were previously uninstalled. This error prevents Screwdrivers from installing properly. Solution: Edit the Registry Important: These instructions require you to edit the registry, which is a potentially dangerous task. Do not follow these instructions unless you are confident that error 2753 you know what you're doing. It is recommended that you make a registry backup prior to editing the registry. To edit the registry, do the following: Click Start and type regedit in the box. A dialogue box will pop up with the following text: Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer? Click Yes. Browse error 2753 the to the following location: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\ Within the Products folder, locate and delete the registry key which contains product information for Screwdrivers. Each registry key within Products is an alphanumeric string. Select the first key and look on the right side for ProductName REG_SZ Screwdrivers. We recommend making a backup of this registry key before deleting it. Delete the registry hive(folder) containing the key ProductName REG_SZ Screwdrivers. Close the registry editor.
