THANKS!!!! Tuesday, January 24, 2006 4:36 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote Dear Sir, I had the same error messages. First it started with this error "Internal Error 2908 {7D4B5591-4C80-42BB-B0E5-F2C0CEE02C1A} and then continously up to another five errors. This happen to me when I wanted to install .Net Framework for Visual Studio .Net 2003 installation Please help me to work further on this installation.would get a message saying "Internal Error 2908". http://xenomorph.net/windows/issues/dot-net-internal-error-2908/ Fix: I had .NET 1.1 installed before. Part of it remained on the system. I had to manually delete this file: C:\Windows\System32\mscoree.dll Cause: .NET uses the MSCOREE.DLL file to see if .NET is already installed. If I select the "everyone" option it gets installed but if I try to launch the application: the application has encountered a problem and needs to close I first tried installing the application on the machine on which it is programmed and setup is created and has window 7 os and the installer and application works fine .
