Not sure what's changed in the meantime other than some Windows updates which came down this morning. When I try to start any Office apps I get a 'Preparing to Install' message, the 'please wait Windows configures Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007', then the error appears: Error 2908: An internal error has occurred. {{bunch of letters and numbers, looks like GUID}} Contact Microsoft PSS for assistance. For more information about how to contact PSS see PSS10R.CHM. Does anyone have any ideas? I've tried repairing Office 2007, .NET framework 3.5 (following suggestions in other posts), but am struggling to think what else to do. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm running Vista Ultimate 64-bit and Office 2007 Enterprise. Thanks in advance. 0 Question by:dnky Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 5 Best Solution byDeath259 Rather then repair your instillation, i would suggest you uninstall it completely.
