Lexus Cd Changer Error 32007 My CD player stops playing while it tries to switch to the next track. I tried to push the Eject button to get the CD out but it won't come out and display Error 3, and then power off by itself. I turned the Power back on, but it keeps displaying Error 3 and not playing. I just bought my car in January. Should I take it to the dealer and will they replace a new one for me?Thank you. Thanks for getting back to me.Just some auto repair shop near me - not a Lexus dealer or anything. They did timing belt, and seals, water pump. I've learned my lesson in retrospective - if it aint broke don't fix it. My friend explained to me the best your car ever is is put together by robots in the factory with oem parts. And if you're not having an issue you shouldn't change that. You should just get oil changes etc not major "preventative" meaintenance. Digressing back to the point tho . Unfortuantely the tip you gave me didn't work. Maybe I did it wrong or could try it again? I'm just upset about this whole ordeal of throwing away money to get my car back worse than it was. Thx for your help. Expert: Skyvisions replied4 years ago. I don't know that I would go as far to say that you should not have done the timing belt and water pump. (out of warrenty)I have had this before and have always managed to finally eject the CD's, but not today, seem locked up for good. Checked the forums for the tricks to fix this and found generally people seem to give up and get a huge bill from lexus.I tried the suggested fix of removing the fuse to reset the unit, No joy. So then tried second fix I had read on one of the forums, basically just carefully insert another CD into the slot, but only about 1 to 2 inches of the disk and keep jiggling the disk around and pressing the eject button. Well what do you know it worked, all 6 CD's popped out, reloaded disks again and all well. :D
 Zee007 1 LOC King of Bling Members 1 5,884 posts Lexus Model: Altezza RS200 Z Turbo Posted November 24, 2005 Great stuff! ;)
 MacRS200 2 Club Post Guru Members 2 4,568 posts Lexus Model: Altezza RS200 Tip, IS200 Sport Posted November 24, 2005 Handy tip that one :)
 trinilex 0 Member Members 0 98 posts Lexus Model: IS 200 Posted November 24, 2005 GREAT!!!. :D . Well i've tried everything, and i've called the dealership and apparently i'm going to have to pay $1000 on repairing/replacing the damn thing. Does anybody know any alternative solutions for this problem? or even instructions on how to removing the deck itself would be great!!! Suprising news to me. I've searched the internet and found several message boards with no safe solution except to take it to the dealer. But in your case this would be costly... the price to pay for driving a luxury car. If you feel you want to take the chance and do something a little gutsy, I found this solution: Press the load button. When the CD door opens, insert a thin, flat item (a swiss army knife nail file w
