I killed my antivirus and then hit refresh on all of the podcasts that failed with err = -3259 and they all finished successfully. Long term I think we need to get apple to resolve this issue, but in the meantime you can temporarily disable your anti-virus, complete your downloads and then bring the anti-virus back up. And some where said that it because parental control: Some of our users are reporting that unchecking Podcasts from the Parental Controls preference pane has resolved the issue. For some of our customers, simply going into: Edit - Preferences - Parental Control and unchecking Podcasts share|improve this answer answered Nov 15 '10 at 18:58 Am1rr3zA 8,814104982 It wasn't parental controls or anti-virus. I had no problem yersterday with downloads, everything was fine back then. I checked on another computer, and the same podcasts were downloading fine. I updated iTunes to 7.1, but still the same problem. I tried signing in and out of the iTunes store, no luck. I restarted my computer, no luck. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas? P.S. I did a Registry De-Frag yesterday with Tune Up Utilities 2008, but it said everything was complted successfully. This was the first time I had De-Fragged my Registry, do you guys think that could be the problem?
