I have a BB 7100i. I am unable to Synchronize my email accounts, because I was told by the POP3 support that I have to pay for that service. So I decided to access the website and just check my email, however I am having problems opening my email. I receive a Http 404 error. I can access the website and my inbox, but I error 404 can't open them. Are there certain Browser Options or Setting I can change to correct this problem. Thanks In Advance, AAO Offline 11-16-2005, 02:42 AM #2 (permalink) BLC Knows Where the Search Button Is Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Newport, South Wales Model: 7100t Posts: 17 Post Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts Wirelessly posted (7100t (T-Mobile UK): BlackBerry7100/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/5.1.1.3) Error 404 is a server-side error generally. It means exactly what blackberry browser error it means on the tin, the server can't find the page you requested, and there's no browser setting you can adjust to fix this. It could be that the pages are loading too slowly on your BB and timing out perhaps. It's more likely that the BB browser can't properly handle the non-WAP/WML page you're throwing at it (could have been designed for IE only), and the server just gives up. Or alternately your webmail server could be screwed . In short, unless your webmail has a WAP specific version, the best way to get email on the BB is to pay for it. Either with your network provider or sign up to one of the third-party BES sites listed on this forum. Not an ideal solution if money's tight, but it's the best. __________________ T-Mobile UK 7100t OSv 4.0.0.215 PIN 202B2655 Offline 11-16-2005, 02:43 AM #3 (permalink) BLC Knows Where the Search Button Is Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Newport, South Wales Model: 7100t Posts: 17 Post Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts Wirelessly posted (7100t (T-Mobile UK): BlackBerry7100/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/5.1.1.3) Error 404 is a server-side error generally.
