At least I sort of remember seeing this application before on one of my classes.. We're starting to see users getting the following message when they launch a virtualised app: --------------------------- Application Virtualization Error https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/2fc3a01f-63d9-4401-9778-8d634086e0cc/getting-error-4505cd16d1100a0000e005-launching-previously-working-apps?forum=mdopappv --------------------------- The Application Virtualization Client could not launch FileZilla 3.2.2.1. An unexpected error occurred. Report the following error code to your System Administrator. Error code: 4505CD-16D1100A-0000E005 --------------------------- OK --------------------------- This sometimes happens for users that have been using that app ok for a few weeks, and sometimes occurs the first time a user tries to launch an app. Either way once they've had the error that app won't work again. Other virtualised apps on the same system do work with no problem before and after the problem occurs. You get the following errors in the sftlog.txt: [05/12/2009 15:18:07:406 JGSW ERR] {hap=12:app=FileZilla 3.2.2.1:tid=428:usr=xxxxxxxx} The Application Virtualization Client could not connect to stream URL 'FILE://C:\WINDOWS\system32\CCM\Cache\SOL0002C.2.S-1-5-21-1393408613-3259354127-3638037492-9657\SOL0002C.sft' (rc 16D1100A-0000E005, original rc 16D

I replied back with "but what's the error https://books.google.com/books?id=oO8nAQAAMAAJ&pg=PA315&lpg=PA315&dq=error+41300f&source=bl&ots=Q0dwhoHqhD&sig=tZ9G31lRmyzZ3DvWzWNFQp_XLiw&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjfoeOs1MbPAhUJ5oMKHZrxBeMQ6AEIYjAJ code!!!!!!" , and then it dawned on me……. perhaps some people don't actually know how to get these! So, When you see that ‘Launch failed’ above the system tray area, you can error 41300f click on it to get a popup dialog with more info, including a specific error code. You can also go back and look in the log (sftlog.txt in the path where you installed the client) to find the launch error—the easiest way is to search for “The SoftGrid Client could not launch the application you requested” which should show up in the log file right error 41300f next to the error code. So in my example my log file is stored at%Program Files%\Softricity\SoftGrid for Windows Desktops\sftlog.txt and within my log file I 1: [07/26/2007 14:37:44.407 TRAY ERR] {tid=2140:usr=jzarb} 2: The SoftGrid Client could not launch Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 7.0.2052.0. 3: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. 4: Error code: 420114-19D0472A-0000274D That error code points us much more specifically at what failed… There are literally thousands of things that could have caused the failure you see, and without the error code we can’t really narrow it down. In the above example a quick search and I find http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930730 a quick browse of the info and a quick fix and then I am back on my way to streaming heaven!!!
