Error 42000 Sql Server
but nothing seems to quite explain the errors i'm getting after i upgraded views. I'm using all the latest versions of ctools/entity etc. I use panels on various pages of my

site and within each panel i use a paged view to show 'teasers' of various content. After I upgraded I went into the view admin and noticed that there was the following error on all but one of the separate views (weirdly the 1 view that is working is identical to the rest) - The error is : 'Exception: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or sql error 42000 incorrect syntax near access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near \'LIKE \'example\' ESCAPE \'\\\\\') AND (node.type IN (\'example\')) AND (n\' at line 3' in views_plugin_query_default->execute() (line 1386 of /home/content/all/modules/views/plugins/views_plugin_query_default.inc). After checking the logs there is also another error that seems to accompany the one above : 'Exception: SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1052 Column \'uid\' in on clause is ambiguous' in views_plugin_query_default->execute() (line 1386 of /home/content/sites/all/modules/views/plugins/views_plugin_query_default.inc). The view doesn't produce any results no matter how i change it. With emulated prepared statements, the parameter will be blindly escaped, single-quoted, and substituted in, causing an SQL syntax error. This is what's happened here. That's the problem. As for solutions: Reevaluate your database design. Do you really need to split data across different tables like that? If not, combine the relevant data into a single table, and query accordingly. If you're happy with the design (or can't change it), you'll need an ugly insecure hack li

I actually spent quite some time searching error 42000 and analyzing our code. We have a job calling a stored procedure which selects some data and then calls other stored procedures (some which names are retrieved using the select-statements, since they might vary). It calls about 20 different of these stored procedures about 10'000 times (summed up the different calls), just varying the parameters. These stored procedures retrieve some data and then inserts the data into our databse. Version of SQL-Server This worked fine in Microsoft SQL-Server 2005, but sql error 42000 since a little while we upgraded to SQL-Server 2012 (11.0.3000.0) and this problem seems to started occurring since then, or we simply were not aware of it before.
