11.0 Object Library. And I've set the form to open up during the application Startup. And that's all I need to reproduce the problem. The database runs fine on our Windows Server 2003. But as soon as I try to run it via Citrix, it fails with "run-time error '429': ActiveX component can't create object". Citrix is supposed to act as a terminal server, just passing the screen display through to the client, so I don't understand error 429 activex component can't create object excel how it can do anything differently to running direct on the server. I'd really appreciate your advice, expertise on running Access through Citrix, or suggestions. Many Thanks, Keith. I was able to eliminate Access from the equation by creating a Custom Citrix session, and attempting to open Outlook from within this. I am running an application that uses an activeX component with a (manually) registered wodsftp.dll. If I launch the application from one server (this is a virtual server cloned from the original) I https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/22469359/Error-429-ActiveX-can't-create-object-as-user-running-published-app-on-specific-server-of-citrix-PS4-farm.html can run the application with no problems. If I try to run the application as anything other than a domain admin account I get the error 429 ActiveX can't create object and the application hangs to the point that I have to administratively kill it. I have compared registry entries for all java versions and confirmed that the versions are the same on both machines and GP is applied across the board to the Terminal server computers. I have been fighting with this for some time and really could use some HELP!!! 0 Question by:jenit Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 18 Best Solution bymgcIT if it works with a domain admin account only this sounds like a permissions problem. Runtime Error 70: Permission Denied I am getting the error "Runtime Error 70: permission denied" when trying to execute the following line of code: Set xlApp = New Excel.Application We are in the process of converting to a new version of Citrix. The error occurs ONLY when running on a terminal server on the new version of Citrix. On our current (old) version of Citrix, or when run from my PC, it works fine. I have little control over the Citrix environment, and the guy who does, doesn't know VB. Sending Outlook E-mail - Run-time error '429' I copy and pasted this code from another one of my DBs that was executing it just fine. Now I get run-time error 429. I do have MS Office 2010. However, I had Excel 2003 installed on my machine because some of our software is only compatible with 2003. Ever since then I've been getting this run-time error. I have all the libraries referenced. Does anyone have a solution for this? Run-time error 429: ActiveX com
