Successfully updating these Windows files will resolve these errors. NOTE:Encountering this error when viewing sample plans is due to adifferent error 429 problem. Resolution Take the following steps to resolve this error: Download the Visual Basic Run-time Component updates. Download theVisual Basic 6.0 SP6update. When prompted, choose toSavethis file to the Desktop of your computer. When the download is complete, click theClosebutton and proceed to the next download. Download the update for the Windows Scripting components. Download the Windows Scripting 5.6 update for your error 429 activex version of windows. Windows XP/2000and newer Windows 98/ME Windows 7 or Windows 8 When prompted, choose toSavethis file to the Desktop of your computer. When the download is complete, click theClosebutton and proceed to the next step. Install the downloaded updates. Double-click on the Visual Basic Run-time update,vbrun60sp6.exe. The Visual Basic Run-time update will copy files. When it is finished, double-click on the Windows Scripting update file,scripten.exeorscr56en.exe. The Windows Scripting update will prompt you when the process is complete. ClickOKto this message. Restartthe computer. Launch your Palo Alto Software program to verify that the problem is resolved. Note: Windows 7 and Windows 8 come with the latest Windows Scripting components installed so you cannot manually update them. In these cases, trying to will give a message about "not enough storage". Fixing the error in this case can be attempted using the System File checker utility built into Windows. I downloaded ad-aware to get rid of the spyware but it keeps coming back. so i downloaded Spyguard and it seems to work but i keep getting this error message. runtime error "429" active X component can't create object And i need to reload Spyware Guard.
