I activex component can't create object excel tried to execute this script and receiving the error message as below: 'Runtime Error 429 : ActiveX Component Can't Create Object' After received this message, I tried the below steps: 1. execute http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-windows_programs/runtime-error-429-activex-component-cant-create/481475c9-4ed6-4211-be6b-2431b962b257 'wscript -regserver' command in command prompt, which went fine. 2.execute 'regsvr32 scrrun.dll' command in command prompt, which went fine. 3. Re-execute the vb script (test.vbs), receiving the same error message(Runtime error 429). Please advise on this.
