MS14-082: Description of the security update for Microsoft Office 2010: December 9, 2014 This security update will cause some problem with the ActiveX controls, including the error 438 when trying to manipulate the ActiveX control from the VBA code. The Commence letter macros have been disabled Users do not have access or cannot browsethe default Startup location The Commence letter macros file(cmcmerge.dot) is not found in the Startup location Follow the steps below to check for each of these conditions.
