The host and the virtual machine resided in a test environment. Everything was working well, so I moved the BES Express test VM into a production environment, on to an existing host, and decommisioned the test vm machine. A quick look at the SQL server shows that for error 5009 some reason the MSSQLSVR service is starting as a service with the wrong credentials. It is marked as running however, it will not restart after being stopped. Updated the credentials and now I have BB's working again. Now I need to find out why the credentials changed. Hello everybody, I am currently running (1) BES v4.0 with MSDE on W2K Server (2) Exchange 5.5 (SP4) with appropriate CDO.dll hot fix (3) MDAC 2.81 (4) Firewall with port 3101 opened After setting up BES 4.0, I did the following few things: (1) Ran the bbsrptest command line tool to test the connection to the blackberry infrastructure - successful (2) In Blackberry server configuration, Test SQL server connection - Successful (3) Validate SRP key and ID - Valid But still, the following warning and error messages keep showing in the event log of our BES Server. Event Type: Error Event Source: BlackBerry Synchronization Service Event Category: None Event ID: 16027 Description: [SYNC-Gate] Can't find BES(AONBES) related SRP data in ServerConfig table.
