This works well, but sporadicly we notice that some records (Primary <> Standby) are http://nntp-archive.sybase.com/nntp-archive/action/article/%3C48fc9d62.125e.1681692777@sybase.com%3E not in sync. Once a record in Standby is not correct, every next update on this record wil fail too (cause of the fields in the where clause, affected rows = 0 but no SQL error). Because our Replication Server does not give error on these updates, its hard to find out when things went wrong. We might even never notice the sync issue. We use the rs_subcmp tool, but only when we know that a record is not in sync. question 1: Can we configure the Replication server so that we can get a real error when replicated transaction does not give any results (rowcount = 0) on the standby? Because then we want to know which records 'failed' (so we can immidiately look for the error and solve the problem). I know we can configure each table to "use minimal columns", so the next update will work, but then we will never have known if there was a problem at all. question 2: the two times we noticed that some reco
