Most of the time you get this message when mail is relayed. In general your outgoing mail is send to the mail server of your ISP. In exchange this is done with the smart host entry and with IMAP/POP3 you must check the outgoing server entry. 0 Anaheim OP alee786 Feb 23, 2013 at 10:59 UTC @ Charles2344 Sorry for the delayed reply as I was off from work yesterday. The domain is not blacklisted. 0 Anaheim OP alee786 Feb 23, 2013 at 11:00 UTC @ me again, The emails are going to same as well as other domains. 0 Anaheim OP alee786 Feb 23, 2013 at 11:01 UTC @Harrie Kohler, It is POP3 account. 0 Habanero OP BizDPS Feb 23, 2013 at 11:57 UTC It sounds like either A) the mail server is an inbound mail server, and the client's trying to send through it, getting greylisted, or B) the client isn't authenticating properly. 0 Anaheim OP alee786 Feb 27, 2013 at 9:04 UTC Thanks to everyone for their input. Actually, the problem was with email signature. Without the signature in the email body, the emails went through just fine. Finally the problem was solved by changing the SMTP port from 25 to 587. 0 Sonora OP Moggy Apr 14, 2013 at 9:42 UTC 1st Post
