Posted May 21st, 2008, 9:07 pm Randomly when trying to visit some websites I get a dialog box saying: "Cannot load dialog. Error 764: No smart card http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=657537 reader is installed." and the page refuses to load. I have never had http://www.fixwindowserror.org/Windows_7_Ultimate_Error_764.html a smart card reader on my computer so I don't know what this message is trying to tell me. After receiving this error box a few times I can usually hit reload and get the page to work. Does anybody know what I need to do to remedy this? Thanks in advance. error 6 Firefox v2.0.0.14, Broadband Direct Internet Connection, Windows XP makaiguy Posts: 16140Joined: November 18th, 2002, 6:44 pmLocation: Somewhere in SE USA Website Posted May 21st, 2008, 9:31 pm Are these pages with encryption systems that require you to have a smart card installed for verification purposes?
