Verizon Error 691 Mifi
on my Pantech UM150. I use the Verizon Connection manager software to connect, and it informed me of new firmware
Verizon Aircard Error 691
and requested that I upgrade so I did. Within the week I began to have issues connecting, and staying connected when I did connect. I have random drop off issues and http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-networking/ras-691-qa913-verizon-wirless-data-card/f97b473e-74ab-4c19-aa79-c91f19a05c9b disconnects even in a full coverage area. When I try to connect the first 2 to 4 times I receive a QA913 error, on the 3rd or so attempt it will connect and then stay connected for an amount of time that is quite inconsistant. Is there anyway to back rev my modem to restore the old firmware so that I no longer have http://www.evdoforums.com/thread9527.html this issue, or is there a known fix for the problem I am having. Verizon's tech support has been less than helpful as always, and I will soon be moving into my new home and I would like to sort all this out prior to that so I can have a reasonable faster than dialup connection resource. Also to date, I have had some issues with my MBR1000 randomly loosing connection with my modem as well. Is this similar to the issue at hand or any other known problem? Sorry to be quite the "newbie" in this arena, but I am reading as much as I can on the forum and I have found the information at hand quite useful and impressive. Talking to VW support, they cracked me up saying you got an update today. I said well couldn't the update have broken something? The person tells me, no the updates will only help you, not hurt you!!! They shipped

I have 14 cards that are getting this error and so far any fix they provide will last just a few days. Here is what we do to fix the issue, it works about 50% of the time. Open VZACCESS Manager, make sure you have the latest version. Hit Ctrl-T. It will bring up a window. Type: AT$QCMIPEP=1 Hit Enter AT$QCMIP=1 Hit Enter Alt-F4 (to exit) Try to connect. If this works and you later have the same issue. Open Device Manager, Model, Pantech USB modem. Go to the advanced tab and enter this command. AT$QCMIPMHSPI=300,1 Save and exit and try to connect. I would call them to get a trouble ticket as it is taking days for a "permanant" fix so I would get in line. Good luck. Source(s): 40+ calls to Verizon tech suppo

Effectively, if the computer is NOT connected to the Internet, this pop-up notification is continuously displayed. Uninstalling the program did NOT clear the issue either. After rebooting and determining that the pop-up would not stop, I used a registry cleaner to find and remove all occurrences of VZAccess. Verizon Wireless tech support tells me that this is not their problem . . . the card works on my system and that is the end of their responsibility / assistance. Using Windows Task Manager I see the running application (VZAccess) is pointing to rasautou.exe which appears to be a healthy Windows program; rasautou.exe is a Windows core system file. The program has a visible window. It is a trustwo
