Each time, Verizon support has helped me solve the problem, but I called them today and they told me they believe my UM150 is broken and of course "out of warranty". I'm not sure I agree because all of the lights are working properlyand my computer states the device is working properly. Error 691 is a username and password error. Re: Error message 691 Brothergrim Mar 16, 2010 2:27 AM (in response to robnc410) If you are getting the user name and password issues. Go into your network and find teh dial up network connections. They will be called national access or Verizon something. Delete all of them. Reboot your computer. Go into the vzam and run detect device in the newer versions or in the older click on options and run wizard. Then try and connect. If this does not work call customer care 800-922-0204.
