Error 7013 Advantage
TDataSet-Descendent V7.1, ADS/ALS 10.10. As long as I am runnig my program from within Delphi's IDE everything's fine. But when exiting Delphi and runnig my exe by double-clicking in Windows Explorer, I'm getting a 7013 advantage server files access error. Looking in ads_err.adt there are three error message for each trial. But none of them holds an error code of 7013. There are only error codes 7144 caused in intrn.c lines 542, 1085 and 799. How can this be? I'm connecting via ConnectPath property not via alias. The path is the same within IDE and when starting from Explorer. So what else could be the reason for different behaviour? (23 Nov '12, 00:42) Volker Sengler 0 In KB I found this sentence regarding error 7144: "When using Advantage Local Server, adscollate.adt must be found in the path (normally it would be in the same directory as the adslocal.cfg file)." So, the files should not accessible, should they? Nevertheless I just copied both files in \windows\system32 where adsloc32.dll is located. The errors in ads_err.adm do not occur anymore, but error 7013 is still shown on start-up. Seems, that this error is not written to any log. I also tried V7.1 as well as V10.10 as client dlls.
