Now, where do you do this? Open up ADSS. Then double click on SITES. Then double-click on Default-First-Site-Name (or whatever you might have renamed it....) and then double-click on SERVERS. You should see the object for the computer that is no longer a Domain Controller. Delete it. Additionally, if this Domain Controller was also a DNS Server and/or a WINS Server then you might have to modify the Options in your DHCP and remove the IP Address for the now-dead server...
