Cannot Register Type Library Error Accessing The Ole Registry
I recentley bought a laptop with vista. I tried installing visual studio 6 error accessing the ole registry windows 7 on my laptop but i got a message saying that this program is not compatibable with this version of windows. Â

I cancelled the installation and tried looking for a version for vista. I found Visual Studio Enterprise Edition 2008. But basically they're saying that to register the component, you need administrator privileges when running regsv32.exe. i.e. Right click on a command prompt shortcut and choose "Run as..." Make sure you choose Administrator. Start the prompt then type in regsvr32 msrdp.ocx and press Enter. (That's assuming it's that particular .ocx that's causing the fault) I think there's info in th
