Network Connection May have been lost. I am using Access 2000 and received the message: "Error accessing file. Network connection may have been lost". The file is now corrupt. I have a back up but I made many changes after I made the back up. I read in the forums that Microsoft has a fix for this but it is not public. This issue results from a conflict between Access

TIA - Pete Nov 13 '05 #1 Post Reply Share this Question 3 Replies P: n/a Allen Browne Pete, it does sound like you have been bitten by the very nasty bug in that article. Unfortunately, the database is not recoverable. You will need to restore an older backup, and redo the more recent parts of the project. To prevent it recurring, make sure you apply the service packs to your Access 2000. -- Allen Browne - Microsoft MVP. Perth, Western Australia.
