I suspect that the error is popping up because you may have created a reference in your VBE error accessing file to a library that's no longer available for some reason - maybe it was on a network share - thus the 'network connection' part of the message. If you can open the VBE and look at your references (Tools>References...) and see if any of the available references are shown as MISSING - this might be the problem. If anything shows as missing make sure it's unchecked and click the OK button to close the reference window, close the VBE and try going back in to see if you get the error any more. Hope that helps. Hi, wonder if anybody has a solution / guidance towards a solution for the problem that I'm having. I need to update a VBA module in the enterprise global. The enterprise global opens up without any error either from PWA or with in MSP. As soon as I try to open the visual basic editor, I get the following error "Error accessing file. Network connection may have been lost." I click OK a couple of time and the editor opens, but get the error again if I try to open the module. I'm clueless as to why this
