Everytime I log in oracle with the system user, I get the following message: Error accessing package DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO ERROR: ORA-06509: PL/SQL: ICD vector missing for this package ORA-06512: at "SYSTEM.DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO", line 37 ORA-06512: at line 1 I've read something about that the package must be owned by the sys user, I ran several scripts but haven't resolved this yet. Any pointers about this? thanks in advance. regards, Reply With Quote 04-22-04,12:57 #2 anacedent View Profile View Forum Posts Registered User Join Date Aug 2003 Location Where the Surf Meets the Turf @Del Mar, CA Posts 7,776 Provided Answers: 1 looks like you ran CATALOG.SQL and/or CATPROC.SQL as a user other than SYS, see Note:1015902.4 on ways how to cure this, You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
