Schneider Error loading photoshopimport.aip plugin in Illustrator CS4 Jeffbot Oct 21, 2014 4:09 PM Hello, I'm currently using Illustrator CS4 and just updated my Mac to OS X Yosemite. After installing the new software, I've got some bugs with Illustrator. Namely, upon opening the program, I get the message "Error loading plugins". The plugin in question is "photoshopimport.aip". I'm not sure if this is related to the next issue - I'm no longer able to open .tif files in Illustrator and says that they are "an unknown format and cannot be opened". I have uninstalled and re-installed all Adobe programs, but I still get the same error messages.Naturally, most of the work I do is in Illustrator with .tif files. Can anyone offer some help with these problems? Is this a case of the new OS X and CS4 having compatibility issues? Am I going to have to bite the bullet and upgrade to a newer version of Adobe? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. won't update lawtonlodge183 @lawtonlodge183 3 months, 2 weeks ago I'll preface my questions with the fact that I tried disabling all the plugins, using a default theme, etc. and still no joy updating plugins. WordPress Update Checker gives the warning that the checksum is unavailable. Since the site runs on a VPS, I even tried disabling the firewall briefly to see if it was blocking communications with WordPress.org. No change. I turned on WP_DEBUG and get the following error: Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1613968 with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to WordPress.org. Please contact your server administrator.) in /home/XXX/public_html/wp-includes/update.php on line 306 I get two identical messages for lines 479 and 123. Based on http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress.org_API, I also tried manually contacting the plugin check API with: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugins-wont-update-11/ curl [-1] https://api.wordpress.org/plugins/update-check/1.1/wp-optimize It produces the following response:

All display objects such as MovieClip and Sprite inherit from the DisplayObject class and can be rendered on-screen with X and Y positioning. For example, create a new AdsLoader object and add it to the stage prior to requesting ads. Check that your display objects are in the right order.
