Do not include the said file twice. Use include_once. Or failing that, wrap all definitions in if (!class_defined("xxx")) { –mario Jan 1 '11 at 19:51 In addition to only using include_once, try and re-architect the application to make use of class autoloading, so that PHP will only include files when needed. Also stick to common-sense things, like one class per file, etc. –Rob Jan 1 '11 at 20:10 1 what do you mean by xxx? is xxx act

Like what error you're seeing, and whether clearing your APC cache fixes the problem? apc.stat is a setting that shouldn't really affect any scripts at all - it just means the php scripts aren't statted to find out whether they've changed. If you somehow got a dodgy PHP file into the cache, then you'll have to clear it of course. Jai Gupta (jai-keytoschool) wrote on 2009-10-30: #2 Hi Nigel, Clearing cache does not help. Error I get is. ================= [apc-error] Cannot redeclare class maharathrowable in /mahara/init.php on line 47. ================= I also tried adding file init.php in APC filter so it does not cache. ] [ subject ] [ author ] Had issues after applying beta rpm to the CentOS appliance. Kept getting error "Cannot redeclare class smarty_internal_config in /opt/zendto/lib/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 799" Went through the preferences.php file several times, finally gave up and renamed the entire zendto folder, forced the RPM to re-install. Copied over the zendto.conf from the renamed folder, and reapplied the changes to preferences.php, and it worked. I'm still not sure why it wouldn't before I did this. I've done a diff between the working file, and the one I couldn't get to work and can't see what is wrong. Not sure if you would want to see the diff? Note: Had to set Game Style to Embedded in the areyouahuman dashboard, for the game to show up. This includes all the latest fixes and updates, and now gives you the option of 2 different CAPTCHAs, either the traditional (but hard for users) Google one, or the new (and much easier for users) Are-You-A-Human one from areyouahuman.com. As a result, there are some new settings in the preferences.php file, so make sure when you upgrade that you keep a copy of both your original one and the new one, and go through and add the new settings into your customised one before trying to use it. You will also need to register on areyouahuman.com to get the keys necessary to use their CAPTCHA, unless you opt to continue using the Google one (which is not the default any more). Please do try it out and let me know how you get on! The Change Log since the last stable release is: Version 4.11-4 - Fixed bug setting up database for SQLite3. - Fixed bug causing warnings from NSSADAuthenticator.php on new PHP versions. - Fixed bug causing PHP errors from pickup.php on new PHP versions. - Fixed bug causing librarydesc warning in SQLite3.php. - Much better improvements to SQLit
