Error Cannot Connect Trf Dvd Shrink
Solution to 'Error:\ n Cannot connect TRF' - between Nero 6.6.1.4 and DVD Shrink 3.2.0.15 Discussion in 'DVD Shrink forum' started by KraZvideo, Apr 4, 2006. The burn then fails. I have been able to then go to Nero Burning Rom and burn the files using DVD-Video format, but why is this error coming up? What do I need to do? Uninstall DVD-Fab Decrypter and DVD Shrink and Reinstall? Thanks as always. If you want to continue using shrink to autoburn with nero, then.. Write down your nero serial# and then uninstall version 6.6.1.4 from your system using the general cleantool found here: http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/General_CleanTool.html Next, download and install version 6.6.0.18 from the links provided, re-enter the serial# and you're good to go. nero version 6.6.0.18 updates: Package 1 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe Package 2 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe If you want to keep version 6.6.1.4, then you'll need to burn manually. That makes sense, since I did upgrade the software before my last attempt. I suppose I'll keep the lateste for now. I am getting a new computer Thrusday and will probably downgrade after that, but I'll keep your info on a hard copy until then and I'll follow your instructions. I suppose when uding the DVD-video format with burning rom/manually it still delivers a good copy. I've attempted 2 so far and both played fine on my players. Thanks again,

Basically I've been using dvd shrink for over a year and have http://forums.afterdawn.com/threads/solution-to-error-n-cannot-connect-trf-between-nero-6-6-1-4-and-dvd-shrink-3-2-0-15.443442/ never once had a problem. Here's how I do it: I take dvdfab decriptor and decript the files and save them to my hd. Once that's done I open up dvd shrink and I then use that to load up the files, take off what subtitles and languages I want to remove, and then I have dvd shrink incode and burn it. I have nero and I believe somehow it burns through nero. http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/255542-Problems-with-DVD-shrink Lately I've been able to incode the latest movies I've tried to back up, which are Ice Age 2, Clerks II, and Slither. When I get to the 21% burned, the disc ejects and it says error. I have no idea what's causing this and I need to know if there's a solution to this problem. Some of the newer DVDs have some complex encryption and you may have to do more than just rip it. Also, instead of using Nero to burn, try this version of DVD Shrink that uses ImgBurn automatically. ImgBurn does a better job than Nero for this type of burning. Instructions and links here: http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=63869 And welcome to our forums. It might be the error ("Cannot connect TRF.") that I got awhile back. After googling the error, I found that dvd shrink does not work well with Nero 6.6.1.4 (& Nero Digital 3.1.0.25). The last version that it works with is 6.6.0

In nero when U select the type of disc (data audio etc) in the list, almost at the end there is "Data - UDF" or something like that. That's about it! Worked for me! PS: In my case even the Windows write cd tool did not work. Have no clue about the problem. Came out of nowhere and hit me like a brick. Hope it helps!
