I am using XEN technology. However every thing is working fine here except when I create VM it is always offline. When I at node I run the command,xm list Code: [[emailprotected] ~]# xm list Name ID Mem(MiB) VCPUs State Time(s) Domain-0 Which means actually solusvm is not creating vm, it is just showing in the list and it is howing that vm is created but at the node there is no vm listed. Please help me. If you want to install it to a partition you need to use EFI which is detailed here: https://wiki.solus-project.com/UEFI tiagomelojuca Posts: 4 Joined: Wed Jan 06, 2016 10:43 pm Re: Bootloader error cannot installation Quote Wed Feb 03, 2016 2:34 am Indeed. But if your PC doesnt have support to EFI mode, you must install the bootloader at the MBR of the device. Do you already have a Linux distribution installed on this device? Because in this case, you can just add a new entry at Grub (i guess Solus doesn`t use Grub as bootloader, but i had no problem booting it from Grub on my PC). error cannot find geiger Posts: 1 Joined: Wed Feb 03, 2016 10:53 pm Re: Bootloader installation Quote Wed Feb 03, 2016 11:23 pm lnxdev wrote:Hello there,When we are selecting the bootloader option it only shows whole disk like /dev/sda. Thanks. The same happened to me when I tried to install the long-awaited SOLUS OS yesterday.I used an empty SSD which I would use for SOLUS only but no matter if I chose UEFI or Legacy first in the BIOS or even created a 512MB EFI system partition as I found out about here: https://wiki.solus-project.com/UEFI - it just wouldn't work.I got as far as giving my computer a name for the network, then checking the box next to "Should we install a boot loader on this computer?" and then nothing happened:The Next button wasn't active, so I tried to select my device about two million times (that's where, I thought, I wanted to select the EFI partition but only the whole device (/dev/sda) was visible) - I couldn't get anywhere, I had to give up.The legacy way to install the OS didn't get any further either...
