So the above changed to: cl /I "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\include" /I "C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.5\include" mysql1.c 2. error C2061: syntax error : identifier ‘SOCKET' This was
