Alain, in case that the problem still exists, please allow the following questions: Did you get the saplicense-rpm from SAP (the order for http://marc.info/?l=mysap-linux-general&m=104566698327039&w=2 that you can find under http://www.sap.com/linux -> Evaluation -> Test Drive 6.10 SAPDB)? And - if yes - did you get the correct saplicense-rpm (that one for the 6.10 for SAPDB)? Last but not least you should try to start the database manually - if there are still the problems, though you have fulfilled the questions above.
