Join Now We use a Dell Powervault 100T LTO-3 drive to do our backups nightly. Today, a powervault 110t error codes job failed. I looked at the drive and the LED panel is showing a big, red, powervault 110t error code 5 ugly 3 and the light near the eject button is flashing amber, slowly. I googled to see if I could find any help, dell powervault 114x error codes but there is information about error codes 2, 5, and 6. Anyone know anything about 3? Perform the following action: dell powervault 114t error codes 1. Power the tape drive off and on, then retry the operation that produced the error. The error code clears when you power-off the tape drive or place it in maintenance mode. 2. If the problem persists, download the latest firmware and retry the operation. Tapes get jammed in these units fairly easy, take the lid off the unit, power it back on and then take a look inside and see what is happening with the unit. You might need to manually remove a tape from inside and then put the lid back on. Once the drive reboots then make sure that the A error doesn’t return. If the drive comes back as a ready state then try to run your backup & see if you get the same error again.
