Gepubliceerd op 20 dec. 2015Can you help me with Bryant and Carrier Furnace Error Code 41?Are you sure it isn’t error code 14, the code for an ignition lockout? No, because I see that error code often enough to know I need to power cycle the furnace to fix it.The error code 14 will also auto-reset after three hours. What does error code 41 mean?Error code 41 on a Bryant or Carrier furnace is the notice for a blower motor fault.Short of replacing the blower, what do I do to fix it?Error code 41 can happen when the blower fails to reach the 250 rotations per minute threshold. In that case, it could simply be a matter of adding oil to the blower motor.Yes, and it could be due to dirt and debris around the bearings or fan, too.If the spider webs or dust bunnies had become that numerous, I need an exterminator, not a repair tech. The status code 41 can come up when the blower fails to communicate with the furnace control within thirty seconds of being turned on.That sounds more like a communication error.Yes, so the error code 41 could be due to a loose wire.Sure, a loose wire that prevents

I have a Carrier MVP58 Infinity. Our Furnace has been in the off setting for about a week and we turned it to cool today and got a fault code 41. I have put it into a self test and the inducer runs on low and then high, and then nothing else seems to happen until it starts blinking the code 41. We did have a brown out followed by a full outage for about 8 hours on 3July. We had not run it since then until today, but it was off at the time. Any way to fix this myself ASAP. It might be monday before I can get someone out and the next few days are going to be close to 100 and humid. Noticed when I got home the house wasn't cool and no air flow coming from the vents. Came down error code to check the furnace. Yep Frozen! My first thought was filter or low freon. The furnace is flashing a code in amber. 4 short and 1 long flash. Book indicates blower motor fault. Any ideas? Thank for the help Advertisement 12-02-2007, 08:48 PM #2 MaxPierre Newbie Join Date: Dec 2007 Posts: 11 Rewards Points: 10 View MaxPierre's Album Me too! I seem to be having a similar problem. I got codes "44" and "41". When I get both, I'm instructed carrier error code to check the wiring to the blower. The HVAC tech tells me that the blower is blown (pun intended) and it will need to be replaced. I also followed the suggestions as if I got each code individually. In this case I was instructed to make sure the registers was opened (which are all open now as opposed to only a few being open). I was also told to check the filter... I did, and though dirty it didn't seem to be the problem. So, I'm in a similar boat... any other suggestions other than replacing the blower? Turn your furnace switch off then on now that you've changed the filter. If it does not start you'll need to call a service tech. Last edited by Summit Heating & Air; 12-03-2007 at 12:49 AM.
