Probably a restart would have sufficed. I recently got a TrueBlue TB-100T3 and tried pairing it with my computer (Windows 7 64-bit). At http://superuser.com/questions/471767/bluetooth-headset-pairs-and-appears-in-sound-devices-but-shows-as-disconnected first it paired, but it would not appear under Sound Devices. I updated my Broadcom Bluetooth drivers here: http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php Now my headset appears in both Playback and Recording, but shows as Disconnected. The device is on, paired, and appears under "Device Manager" as having no problems. I right-clicked and installed both the Hands-free Telephony and Headset services. Here is an image: Right-clicking the device and selecting Connect does nothing. Does anyone have a solution? The OP has reported that this problem was resolved by a reboot and has not returned to Super User in 2½ years. windows-7 audio bluetooth headset share|improve this question edited May 14 '15 at 8:10 G-Man 3,09391224 asked Sep 8 '12 at 19:14 Mike 36113 Post your edit as an answer to your question, then accept it so we know your problem is resolved. –bwDraco Sep 16 '12 at 17:29 1 Had a problem in Jun/Jul 2016 and have Intel Bluetooth hardware? When trying to connect the 905i headset, it's stuck error connecting on "connecting to device" screen, which I am never presented with a pairing screen. Then it reports an error 0x80004005. I have tried installing broadcom's drivers, removing registry keys, new bluetooth profile name [Device Manager > Bluetooth > Advanced Name], and pairing multiple times and rebooting. I don't understand what is going wrong, the bluetooth adapter works with wiimote, a lot of error connecting to people have no problem at all pairing up with their 905i headset, broadcom's drivers is suppose to be the end-all fix for bluetooth issues, but yet nothing has fixed it. Hi guys, I couldn't pair either of my two headsets to my Windows 7 machine. Here's what fixed it for me. In Device Manager, under Bluetooth Radios, I opened the properties for my radio (Broadcom 2046 Bluetooth 2.1+EDR USB Device with First Connect). Under the Advanced tab, I took the hyphen out of my radio's name. The headsets paired immediately after that. This is a pretty serious bug considering the radio takes its name from the computer name, which is usern

Stimpy2319 Level 1 (0 points) Q: Bluetooth headset problems in Boot Camp I have a mid 2011 iMac dual booting Lion and Windows 7 64 bit using Boot Camp. When booted into Windows my bluetooth keyboard and mice work fine, but when I attempt to connect a headset (I have tried 2 different ones from different manufacturers) I get errors about could not load the driver.I have attempted to reinstall the driver using the update driver method for both the headset and I have reloaded the Boot Camp drivers replacing the entire bluetooth radio drivers in the process.I have also attempted to download and install the Broadcom drivers from Broadcom's site and the installer hangs on the Detecting Device step and never progresses even after an hour.Anyone have any luck getting a decent Bluetooth stack loaded in Windows on the new iMacs? If so what did you do? What drivers did you use and where did you get them? iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), Windows 7 Posted on Jan 27, 2012 5:02 PM I have this question too Close Q: Bluetooth headset problems in Boot Camp All replies Helpful answers Page 1 Next by Jaygyver,★Helpful Jaygyver Jan 27, 2012 7:53 PM in response to Stimpy2319 Level 3 (735 points) Jan 27, 2012 7:53 PM in response to Stimpy2319 I found this when I did a quick search. I just got done trying those steps though and they did not work. Not only could I not get my headset working, but also my mice were showing as having errors and scrolling on both my magic mouse and trackpad stopped working, and right clicking on the trackpad stopped working.Come on Apple don't give us half baked Windows Drivers. I know that Microsoft is a competitor, but if you are going to support their software on your hardware support it fully.
