Double-click on the clock in the lower-right corner of your screen to check date and time. Open Internet Explorer and attempt to access a secure site, such as an online banking site. If you cannot access a secure page: In Internet Explorer, select the Tools menu and select Internet Options. Click on the Security tab. Default all settings for each "Web Zone" and click the Privacy tab. Click Advanced and select Override automatic cookie handling. Click OK. Click the Advanced tab and click Restore Defaults. Ensure that Use SSL 2.0 and Use SSL 3.0 are selected. Click Apply and click OK. Attempt to process a credit card. If the error persists, ensure that the Point of Sale credit card preferences are correct: In Point of Sale, choose Edit > Preferences > Company (In Version 10 choose File > Preferences > Company). POS 2013 does not have Communication Setup options. Select the Communications Setup preference. Ensure that the Use this computer to connect for all debit and credit card transactions is selected. Ensure that the correct internet connection method is correct - Direct-dial or Secure Internet connection. (Version 2013: Secure Internet connection only) Click Save and attempt to process the credit card again. If this fails, continue with the next steps: Examine the Communications Setup preference on client installations if they exist. These should not have the Use this computer to connect for all debit and credit card transactions selected. If the installation of a program update has failed recently, reinstall the update by going to Help > Software Updates > Check for updates. Version 9 and below Make sure the system date on the server computer and any client computers is correct. Double-click on the clock in the lower-right corner of your screen to check date and time. When I try to send to Constant Contact I get a dialog with the message Error connecting with https://community.intuit.com/articles/1288936-point-of-sale-error-connecting-with-ssl SSL. I cannot proceed until I click the OK button on the error message popup.So far I have not found a solution to the POS program's failure to connect to Constant Contact which is producing the popup. Sometime in the last couple of weeks it quit working.We have about 212 contact that need to https://www.customercaredirectory.com/quickbooks-pos-support-number/ go over. When we click to have them sent, the dialog kind of locks up. It never goes away and we eventually hit Cancel.We have tried the same list of customers and exported to Excel format error connecting just fine.We have selected only 1 contact to sync to Constant Contact and it still fails.We have turned off all firewalls and anti-virus and it still fails.We are at a loss on what to try. Any help in how we can get this working again?Right now we are manually exporting and importing... but we do this daily and would like to return to doing it all through Point of Sale.Thank you!
