I

found the log that everytime he backup a large zip file (about 1.3GB) to my FTP server, it shows 450 Internal Error Creating directory. I checked his ftp client setting, it looked all ok, and if ftp to small file (about 100MB), it successed. The user has no timeout conncection or transfer limit. So I wonder 450 international tractor if this is FTP server program problem, or file too large that server cannot handle it. Please advise! Thanks! _________________YouAre Mybb Top Profile Reply with quote botg Post subject: PostPosted: 2005-12-20 18:36 Offline Site Admin Joined: 2004-02-23 20:49 Posts: 28407 First name: Tim Last name: Kosse Could you please provide some logs? I am having one problem which I am having troubles trying to resolve. I have done many searches in here trying https://forum.filezilla-project.org/viewtopic.php?t=1689 to locate an answer, so my apologies if it has been covered before. I am fairly sure that this is an FTP Server problem. I am using Bulletproof FTP V2.2.1(11) I am on version 3.1.0.460 of SyncBack. What happens is: I have set up a new backup profile to copy contents of a laptop folder to my server (using FTP as this will be implemented eventually for other users). When I http://www.2brightsparks.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=351 run the profile, it churns away then presents the log screen which shows every single file with the following error message. Not in destination, Failed to copy source: Cannot go to directory RCS/Backup/Troy White/__ Dump/: CWD failed. 'RCS/Backup/Troy White/__ Dump/' : no such file or directory. Now, I have confirmed full rights on the FTP server from the laptop using the sme credentials (using FileZilla client). This is the interesting point. When I check the server destination folder, the files look like they have been copied, however the directory structure is all over the shop. For some reason it appears to nest each file further into the tree. It looks like a CDUP command is being skipped or something once the file is written? Any ideas on this one? Is it assigned to the too hard folder. I am about to try copying the files across to the server manually and see if the backup can then compare and copy correctly. Any suggestions? Thanks Top mickyj 2BrightSparks Staff Posts: 8417

Or better FTP server? The 450 error is from the server, not from SE (we're only quoting it for your info) - you'd have to ask the authors/admins why.You could try turning off SafeCopy (Modify > Expert > Copy/Delete > Advanced > 'Make safe copies...'), which will skip the renaming part, but be aware that if you do, you will disable SE from trying to Resume any interrupted transfers. Also, Versioning relies on SafeCopy (and will lock it 'on'), so you can't have one without the other. To drop SafeCopy, you will need to drop Versioning (if the latter is being used) Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Post Reply 2 posts • Page 1 of 1 Return to “SyncBackSE (commercial)” Who is online Users browsing this forum: Yahoo [Bot] and 2 guests 2BrightSparks Home Forum Home All times are UTC Delete all board cookies The team Powered by phpBB Forum Software © phpBB Limited
