do you have the bitmap already on the local machine? if so then you might need to give the network users (staff users / student users) local admin rights or something similar so they can write to the folder in question. Edit: DO NOT GIVE FULL PERMISSIONS TO WINDOWS FOLDER! *Thanks Synack* James. Last edited by EduTech; 20th August 2009 at 02:36 PM. I need to take away administrator and power user access to all users. Is there a way to force the user's default background to a black screen and use bginfo in white color without having these permissions? I can probably force a background using GPO. I guess the reason for this question is because I do not know what perms users need to have to error creating the change the background. Here is the sample of my bginfo script. Please Ensure the path exists and you have permission to write it. You can select a different output path for the bimap using the bitmap|location menu item. (When I select a different location it throws the same error) 0 Message Author Comment by:oriontech22007-10-10 Ok, so now when I save the bitmap I am putting it in c:\bginfo\bginfo.bm

Please ensure the path exists and you have permission to write it. You can select a different output path for the bitmap using the Bitmap|Location menu item.
