SP2Firmware: 9.3.0.8Driver: 9.3.0.4BBU is up and running.4*WD2500SD = RAID52*WD4000YR = RAID14*WD4000YR = RAID51*WD4000YR = spareSometimes after booting I see the following entry in 3DM2 log and in Windows system log:(0x04:0x0042): Primary DCB read error occurred: port=5, error=0x208It's not always port 5: the port number varies. The message is treated as warning.I would like to know what does it mean and if there is a risk to get the saved data corrupted...I didn't find any valuable info about this error.The KB 14335 (http://www.3ware.com/KB/article.aspx?id=14335) says, it could be caused by inadequate power. As it is redundant (it is present on every disk), this is not a fatal error and does not indicate data corruption as such. If you do not hav

Either the controller has an issue or the drive has something bad. I'd get two new drives and restore from backup, personally. Even if you could pull data on it, unless there's damage that can repaired it may be in a format just for the card to read from for that array. You'd get crud from the drive outside its array structure. If your manufacturer doesn't have any utilities meant to repair a situation like this, they'll most likely tell you to reformat the volume and restore from backup. share|improve this answer answered Dec 3 '10 at 16:48 Bart Silverstrim 1,6901014 unfortunately i dont have a backup. the logica
