error #E45??? - Kodak EasyShare V570 Digital Camera Answers : HelloThe problem is that the lens has become stuck in http://www.lionebra.com/kodak_easyshare_v570_digital_camera/q3617523-kodak_v570_says_camera the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the \015\012probability http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?50321-Camera-Lens-Stuck is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.Use\015\012\015\012\015\012\015\012\015\012\015\012\015\012 these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.Firstly ,\015\012 try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.Try holding the \015\012shutter button while switching on the camera.Look at the lens , \015\012and if some of error e45 the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then \015\012try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).Try gently \015\012pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may \015\012cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.Another\015\012 way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and \015\012then camera error e45 power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to\015\012 not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and \015\012down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the \015\012camera is enough to get things going again.Try hitting your \015\012camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of \015\012your hand.Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair \015\012center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to \015\012replace the camera. If it is still under warranty I would suggest\015\012 you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any \015\012off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about\015\012 warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories. You can also have a look at THIS link.Hope\015\012 \015\012the advise is useful. please do not hesitate to let me know if you need \015\012any further assistance. Also, please be so kind to let me know if you \015\012found this helpful.RegardsAndrea Repair Help & Product Troubleshooting for

It keeps giving this error: camera error # E45. I looked it up, and found the lens was stuck. A suggestion was to lift the ring on the lens. After a few tries, it opened but wouldn't close, error is still there. Is there anything else to try, maybe by opening the camera?
