When I close a file and it asks if I want to save clipboard for later use I always say no. Does anyone know what this is and how to correct it? I use the copy and paste functions a lot and this is very frustrating to me. Maybe check and see in the help menu if there's a subject that pertains to that message. I've learned a lot from that help/search menu as I don't find Corel very user friendly Logged boomerbabe Full Member Posts: 215 Re: Open Clipboard failed CorelDRAW « Reply #2 on: August 05, 2010, 03:37:03 PM » Tory,Just so you know, I finally rebooted my computer and everything was then okay. I had searched to no avail. When I'm working in Corel I have nothing else running and make sure I backup every 5 to 10 minutes.Joe Logged A woman has the last word in any argument... My macro http://www.wpuniverse.com/vb/showthread.php?30937-X4-returns-quot-OpenClipboard-Failed-quot works perfectly, but, on some files, it locks up with the "wpwin14" message "OpenClipboard Failed". I then need to right-click on the macro icon and select Stop. I then see that the macro has left the punctuation mark selected. Is there a way to avoid this error? Thanks in advance.
