Recently I've wanted to try to use the jboss "all" configuration as a deployment platform for our application - primarily because I intend on using jboss aop 1.5 (which i have successfully got to work on my local machine).Upon trying to run the all configuration I get a number of deployment exceptions and messages that I and somewhat confused about. They seem to be related to snmp - perhaps some type of port conflict...I have tried this with jboss AS 4.0.4GA and jboss AS 4.0.5.GAThe exceptions are as follows.2006-11-27 11:45:19,080 DEBUG [org.jboss.system.ServiceController] starting service jboss.jmx:name=SnmpAgent,service=snmp,type=adaptor2006-11-27 11:45:19,080 DEBUG [org.jboss.jmx.adaptor.snmp.agent.SnmpAgentService] Startingjboss.jmx:name=SnmpAgent,service=snmp,type=adaptor2006-11-27 11:45:19,082 DEBUG [org.jboss.jmx.adaptor.snmp.agent.SnmpAgentService] Instantiating trap emitter ...2006-11-27 11:45:19,088 DEBUG [org.jboss.jmx.adaptor.snmp.agent.SnmpAgentService] Starting trap emitter ...2006-11-27 11:45:19,089 DEBUG [org.jboss.jmx.adaptor.snmp.agent.TrapEmitter] Reading resource: '/managers.xml'2006-11-27 11:45:19,115 DEBUG [org.jboss.jmx.adaptor.snmp.agent.TrapEmitter] Found 1 monitoring managers2006-11-27 11:45:19,128 WARN [org.jboss.jmx.adaptor.snmp.agent.TrapEmitter] Error enabling monitoring manager: [address=localhost,port=1162, localAddress=null, localPort=0, version=1]java.net.BindException: Cannot assign requested addr

The following topics provide additional information about the Monitor: About the Enterprise Manager Monitor Enabling Monitoring for Oracle Java CAPS Master Index About the Enterprise Manager Monitor The Monitor alerts you to https://developer.jboss.org/thread/62226 the status of components (for example, whether they are running) and allows you to send commands to the components such as start or shut down. From the Monitor, you can double-click a Oracle Java CAPS Master Index application or related project component to go directly to the problem. The Monitor allows you to filter the list of displayed instances to quickly identify exceptions and to navigate to specific versions of a Service to https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21454_01/html/821-2642/mntr_mi-em-using_c.html monitor the progress of each instance. Oracle Java CAPS Master Index components cannot be stopped or restarted from the Monitor, but Adapterss and other associated components can. The Monitor provides visual cues to let you know when a component needs attention. For example, the Connectivity Map displays a flashing red square when a Service becomes inactive. If you configure the Alert Agent or SNMP Agent, you can avoid having to run the Monitor continuously. The agent will notify you when a specified problem occurs. Enabling Monitoring for Oracle Java CAPS Master Index You can use the Enterprise Manager to monitor most components of a Oracle Java CAPS Master Index system, including Collaborations, Business Processes, and Adapterss. Selecting any of the displayed components displays more information about their status, alerts, log entries, and so on. In order to view the special tools for each component type, you must have the Enterprise Manager Plug-in files uploaded and installed for those types. For more information about installing the Enterprise Manager Plug-ins for Oracle Java CAPS Master Index, Adapters, and other components, see Installing Plugins Using Enterprise Manager Web Applications Manager in Using the Oracle Java CAPS 6.3 Installation GUI.
